Avoca were contracted by Newham PCT to supply RIO Data Consultants to assist them in their data migration from the legacy CHIA system to RiO. The consultancy service included the use of Microsoft SQL Server to perform data analysis across all datasets, confirming that data conformed to the destination system specification, correction of source data issues and reporting on data issues. Avoca’s Rio specialists also conducted resolution meetings, managed a team to clean data and had to understand in depth the functionally of both CHIA and RiO systems to perform front end testing. Newham PCT successfully went live in September 2009.
