Avoca were contracted by Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NUHT) to provide a full data migration managed service to a Cerner Millennium PAS. The project involved extraction, cleaning and transforming data in preparation to load onto NUHTs six hospital sites. Avoca worked closely with staff at NUHT to ensure a successful go-live and provided on site project management and consultancy services, including CDS validation, 18 week wait reporting and clinic build validation. The project went live in November 2009, following this Avoca provided on site consultancy services in order to produce post go-live upload files to resolve manual cut over data entry back log around future appointments.
