Avoca were contracted by Fujitsu to assess the viability of a future migration from a Clinicom PAS to Cerner, for North Hampshire Care Records Service Deployment Family. The project involved initial assessments of the tools and databases that were currently available to the client to establish if it would be possible to extract all of the information that is required in order to perform a data migration from Clinicom to Cerner and populate the Avoca Archive and Audit.

Whilst on site Avoca used the tools that were available to the client to compare the current trust data with what would be required to populate Cerner. During this process Avoca identified data items which would be required to populate the mandatory and required items necessary for Cerner and additionally investigated conditional and optional items to see which items could be populated from the information available. Avoca also attempted to identify the reference tables that would be required through the migration process. The findings were detailed within a report for the client and the project continued.
