Avoca were contracted by CSC to provide data migration to Lorenzo Regional Care for Bury PCT, one of their Early Adopter projects. This was one of Avoca’s most high profile data migrations to date, due to time pressures and Bury PCT being a key milestone for CfH, NpfIT and CSC. The project involved cleaning and transforming data in preparation for the staff at Bury to use the system to manage referrals, clinics and patient contacts. Avoca worked closely with project team members to ensure a successful go live and provided on-site consultancy services, including issue triaging and data validation reporting. Avoca thrived working within a pressured environment and Bury PCT was the first trust to go live with Lorenzo Regional Care Release 1.9 on 3rd November 2009.
